Hancock County is home to some of
the largest whitetails in the state of Illinois. This county
has taken a back seat to some
of the higher publicized counties in the “Golden Triangle”.
Hancock County consists of rolling hardwood timbers and massive draws
along with expansive river bottoms. The rich soil of Hancock
Co. provides the necessary nutrients that whitetails require to grow
world-class
antlers. We have had tremendous success hunting in Hancock
Co. for both deer and wild turkey. |
