The Pike County property will be our new hunting property for 2006. This is a very large tract of land that we will focus on in the 2006 hunting season. It offers ideal whitetail habitat and is very secluded. The land has abundant agricultrual crops and many large sections of hardwoods to provide excellent whitetail deer and turkey habitat.
Pike County Illinois has long been regarded as the ultimate Illinois County for deer hunting at it's finest. Pike County Deer hunting is surely some of the countries prime hunting habitat. But don't be fooled that this is the be-all end-all of deer hunting. Many of the counties near Pike County Illinois also offer some fabulous Illinois deer hunting. One of the advantages to hunting one of the nearby counties is the much lower hunting pressure.
While Pike County Deer Hunting is the best known Illinois county, we have taken numerous very large deer in the surrounding Illinois counties without having to deal with deer that have been pressured by over hunting. |
